This Privacy Policy applies to Antique Value, Idar – Antique Snap Identifier, and other mobile applications developed by Kiryl Nazarau. Antique Value provides information about the Idar app and related antique identification guides.
Idar and related applications are provided by Kiryl Nazarau as free apps with optional in-app purchases. These services are intended for use as is.
This page explains our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our apps, websites, and related services.
Information Collection and Use
Important: Our applications prioritize your privacy. Depending on the specific app, we either do not collect personal data, or store your data exclusively in your personal iCloud account, which is controlled by you and Apple.
Types of Applications
Simple Utility Apps
- These apps use only device sensors, such as a magnetometer.
- No data is collected, stored, or transmitted.
- No third-party services are used.
AI-Powered Identification Apps
- Use artificial intelligence to identify objects from photos.
- May store your collection data in your personal iCloud account.
- May integrate third-party services for analytics, subscriptions, attribution, and monetization.
Data You May Provide
Depending on the specific application, you may provide:
- Photos: Images you capture or upload for identification purposes.
- Collection Data: Information about items in your collection, such as titles, dates, values, notes, and categories.
- PDF Reports: Generated reports about your collection.
- AI Chat Messages: Conversations with AI assistants, stored locally or in your iCloud where applicable.
Storage Location: Personal collection data is stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit framework where applicable. We do not have access to, cannot view, and do not store this information on our own servers.
Photo Processing and AI Identification
Some applications, including AI-powered identification apps, use artificial intelligence to identify objects from photos and provide information. This processing may happen through secure API calls.
- Photos are analyzed temporarily for identification purposes.
- Photos are not permanently stored on external servers by us.
- Chat messages are processed in real time and are not permanently stored externally by us.
- No personal information is intentionally transmitted during the identification process.
- Results are stored only in your personal iCloud account where applicable.
Tracking and Advertising
Some applications use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework to request your permission before tracking your activity for advertising purposes.
If you grant tracking permission:
- We may use your device’s advertising identifier for personalized advertisements.
- This data is used for advertising purposes and improving ad relevance.
- We do not collect or store personal data for this purpose, only advertising identifiers where permitted.
If you deny tracking permission:
- You may still see advertisements, but they may be less personalized.
- No tracking data will be collected for personalized advertising.
- App features will continue to work normally.
You can change your tracking preferences at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
Third-Party Services
Some applications may use the following third-party services:
Apple iCloud / CloudKit
- Purpose: Store your collection data.
- Privacy: Data is stored in your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to this data.

- Purpose: Analytics, crash reporting, and app performance monitoring.
- Data collected: Device identifiers, app usage data, and crash logs.

Facebook SDK

Children’s Privacy
Our applications do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Data Security
Your data security is important to us:
- Where applicable, data is stored in your personal iCloud account and protected by Apple’s security measures.
- We use secure HTTPS connections for network communications.
- We do not store your personal collection data on our own servers.
- Your photos and collection data remain under your control where iCloud storage is used.
Your Rights and Control
You have control over your data:
- Access: Your data is accessible through the app and your iCloud account where applicable.
- Delete: You can delete data within the app.
- Export: You can generate reports of your data where supported.
- Tracking Control: You can enable or disable tracking at any time in iOS Settings.
- iCloud Control: You can disable iCloud sync in your iCloud settings.
Log Data
In case of an error in the app, we may collect Log Data through third-party products. This Log Data may include information such as your device IP address, device name, operating system version, app configuration, time and date of use, and other diagnostic data. This data is used for debugging and improving the app.
International Data Transfers
Where data is stored in your personal iCloud account, international data transfers are governed by Apple’s iCloud Terms of Service and data residency policies. We do not independently transfer your personal collection data internationally.
California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information.
Note: We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
European Privacy Rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, you may have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing.

Our services may contain links to other websites. If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. These external sites are not operated by us, and we are not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or practices.
